Betty Jane Stanley

Died June 21, 2008
Betty Jane Stanley, Culpeper resident
Betty Jane Stanley, 79, of Culpeper, died June 21 at Culpeper Regional Hospital. She was born Sept. 18, 1928, in South Clinchfield, Va., to the late Toby Howard Hall and Violet Edna Counts Hall.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Atler Branson Stanley; her children, Raymond Allen Stanley of Culpeper, Stuart Atler Stanley of Warrenton, Edna Jane Lindemann of Culpeper; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Also surviving is a sister, Willie "Wibb" Ball.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by six siblings, Violet "Polly" Travis, Charlie Hall, Raymond Hall, Vernie Kiser, Sylvia "Snooks" White, and Geraldine "Jerry" Counts.
A funeral service was held June 24 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, Culpeper, with interment at Hillcrest Memory Gardens.
