Arrests and incidents reported by police on Aug. 26

Arrests

Possession With Intent To Distribute Marijuana, occurred on August 22, 2008, around 10:53 p.m. in the 7600 block of Sudley Road in Manassas. Police officers responded to investigate a suspicious vehicle complaint. The police arrested the driver Jacob Issac Radford, 18, of 9848 Nimitz Court, Manassas and charged him with possession with intent to distribute marijuana. Randford was held on $1,500 bond and has a court date of October 1, 2008. In addition, Cara Robinette Hall, 18, of Buttonbush Court, Manassas, was charged with possession of marijuana. Hall was a passenger and she was released on a summons. Hall also has a scheduled court date of October 1, 2008.

Armed Robbery, Grand Larceny, Malicious Wounding, Driving Under the Influence (DUI), occurred on August 254, 2008, around 3:30 a.m. in the 4600 block of Charleton Court in Woodbridge. Arrested was Antonio Cruz Balmore, 38, of no fixed address, on the named charges. Balmore is accused of following the victim to his residence and robbing him. During the attack, the victim was relieved of his jewelry and cash. The victim, a 51-year-old man from Woodbridge suffered injuries to his upper body. Balmore was held without bond and has a court date of October 24, 2008.

Incidents

Malicious Wounding, occurred on August 22, 2008, around 10:00 p.m. in the 14600 block of Balsam Street in Woodbridge. The police investigated a fight and obtained a warrant for Gina Judith Hook, 27-years-old. Hook is a Black female, 5'3" tall, 230 pounds, brown hair and brown eyes. Hooks address is unknown at this time. Hook is accused of assaulting an acquaintance during an argument. The victim, a 25-year-old woman from Woodbridge was treated for bite wounds at a local hospital.

Shooting at an Occupied Dwelling, occurred on August 21, 2008, around 2:30 p.m. in the 9900 block Lake Occoquan Drive in Manassas. The victim reported that she heard when the rear of her house was struck with something and when to investigate. The victim reported that her house had been struck with an arrow. No one was injured during the incident.

Throwing Missiles at an Occupied Dwelling, occurred between August 23, 2008, around 10:30 p.m. and August 24, 2008, around 7:30 a.m. in the 12900 block of Colby Drive in Woodbridge. The victim reported that a paving brick was thrown at his house overnight. The brick went through a front basement window and landed on floor. No one was injured during the incident.

Grand Larceny, occurred between August 23, 2008, around 11:00 a.m. and August 24, 2008, around 9:30 a.m. in the 8600 block of Newton Place in Manassas. The victim reported that a diamond ring, a diamond pendent with a gold chain, and a diamond necklace were stolen from her house while she was hosting a party. The total amount of the stolen property is $1,600.

Grand Larceny, occurred between August 21, 2008, around 2:00 p.m. and August 22, 2008, around 9:30 a.m. in the 2500 block of Hanco Center Drive in Manassas. A 2001, trailer, green in color valued at $500 was stolen. The victim had parked her hauling trailer in front of her business.

Attempted Grand Larceny of Auto, occurred between August 21, 2008, around 7:00 p.m. and August 22, 2008, around 6:00 a.m. in the area of Coverstone Drive and Gales Court in Manassas. The victim reported that his 2007, International, 4300, tow truck had been tampered with in an attempt of stealing it. The victim had parked his tow truck near his residence.

Grand Larceny, occurred between August 24, 2008, around 7:00 p.m. and August 24, 2008, around 7:30 a.m. in the 8200 block of Chatsworth Drive in Manassas. A storage facility was broken into and three victim had property stolen. Some of the reported stolen items were a crossbow and case, a saw, a hammer/drill, a framing gun, two gas trimmers, and three blowers. The total amount of the stolen property is $5,760. Entry to the facility was gained by forcing a locked fence open.

Grand Larceny of a Motorcycle, occurred between August 23, 2008, around 8:00 p.m. and August 24, 2008, around 6:30 a.m. in the 12900 block of Bayou Wood Circle in Woodbridge. A 2006, Suzuki, GSXR-750, black and yellow, valued at $8,500 was stolen. The motorcycle was stolen from the victim's driveway.

Statutory Burglary, occurred between August 15, 2008, around 6:00 p.m. and August 22, 2008, around 6:52 p.m. in the 2200 block of West Longview Drive in Woodbridge. The victim reported that a house that he had just purchased had been broken into and vandalized. Entry to the house was gained by breaking a window. The walls had holes in them they also had been spray painted. The damages that the house sustained were estimated at $3,200.

Statutory Burglary, occurred on August 19, 2008, between 9:00 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. in the 11600 block of Purse Drive in Manassas. Two camcorders and a rifle were stolen from his residence. The total amount of the stolen property is $5,750. There were no signs of forced entry.
