Man robbed, shot
Police have reported that the victim in an Aug. 24 robbery was a 30-year-old Dale City man and he is in stable condition.
The county police department is presently investigating an armed robbery that occurred Aug. 24 at approximately 1:03 p.m. in the 14900 block of Cordell Avenue in Dale City. When the officers arrived they found an adult male lying on the ground. The victim was suffering from gun shot wounds.
The investigation revealed that a silver color sedan parked near the victim, an adult male suspect exited the vehicle, and approached the victim. A short time later, the suspect shot at the victim and took his cash. The suspect is described as an adult black male armed with a handgun. The suspect was wearing a gray color shirt, a gray baseball cap, and left in the silver color sedan. The suspect vehicle may have been driven by a second male suspect.
The victim was been flown to an area hospital.
