Arrests and incidents reported by police on Aug. 22
Arrests:
Possession of Schedule I or II Drug (Crack Cocaine), occurred on August 20, 2008, around 9 a.m. on Jefferson Davis Highway at Wayside Drive in Woodbridge. Police conducted a traffic stop and, in a search incident to arrest, located drugs. Arrested was Michelle M. Clark, 46, of Frank Haskell Court in Bristow and James D. Mims, 28, of Chesapeake Drive in Dumfries on the charges. Clark was held on $3,000 secure bond. Mims was held on a $1,500 secure bond. Information on court dates was not available.
Incidents:
Grand Larceny, occurred between August 19, 2008, around 2 p.m. and August 20, 2008, around 4 p.m. in the 15500 block of Golf Club Drive in Montclair. The victim reported that a GPS system was stolen from outside the residence. The item was left unsecured. The total amount or property stolen is $300.
Grand Larceny of Auto, occurred between August 19, 2008, around 11:30 p.m. and August 20, 2008, around 4:45 a.m. in the 13600 block of Lindendale Road in Dale City. The victims reported that a 2000 white Plymouth Voyager minivan was stolen from the residence. Work tools and a purse were inside the van and were also stolen. It is unknown how entry was gained. The total amount of property stolen is $6,022.
Grand Larceny of Auto, occurred between August 15, 2008, around 9 p.m. and August 19. 2008, around 11 p.m. in the 15300 block of Bronco Way in Dale City. The victim reported that a 2003 silver Acura 3.2TL 4-door sedan was stolen from the residence. It is unknown how entry was gained. The total amount of property stolen is $20,000.
Grand Larceny of Auto, occurred on August 20, 2008, between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. from a gas station in the 14100 block of Minnieville Road. The victim reported that a 2004 white Ford F-350 pick-up truck was stolen from the gas station, where it was parked. It is unknown how entry was gained. The total amount of property stolen is $30,000.
Grand Larceny from Auto, occurred between August 18, 2008, around 10 p.m. and August 19, 2008, around 10:30 a.m. at a business in the 13700 block of Noblewood Plaza in Woodbridge. The victim reported that two sets of tires, rims and lug nuts were stolen from a van that was parked in the lot. The total amount of property stolen is $1,000.
Grand Larceny from Auto, occurred between August 16, 2008, around 10 p.m. and August 17, 2008, around 6 a.m. in the 14600 block of Birchdale Drive in Dale City. The victim reported that yard and lawn equipment was stolen from the back of a pick up, while the vehicle was parked in the residence driveway. The items were not secured. The total amount of property stolen is $1,125.
Grand Larceny from Auto, occurred on August 20, 2008, between 12:30 a.m .and 6:30 a.m. in the 5500 block of Spangler Lane in Dale City. The victim reported that the radiator, a front grill with headlights, the hood, two airbags, the driver’s-side front and rear doors, the driver’s-side front fender, front air conditioning vents and stereo equipment were stolen from the vehicle, which was parked in the residence driveway. It is unknown how entry was gained. The total amount of property stolen is $4,750.
Statutory Burglary and Grand Larceny, occurred on August 19, 2008, between 5 a.m. and 11 a.m. in the 1600 block of Lynn Court in Woodbridge. The victim reported that two TVs and a laptop computer were stolen from the residence. It is unknown how entry was gained. The total amount of property stolen is $4,100.
Statutory Burglary and Grand Larceny, occurred between August 18, 2008, around 11 p.m. and August 19, 2008, around 6 a.m. in the 13000 block of Pilgrims Inn Drive in Dale City. The victim reported that a laptop computer, a cell phone, a purse and other items were stolen from the residence. There was no sign of forced entry. The total amount of property stolen is $1,139.
Statutory Burglary occurred on August 20, 2008, around 10:15 p.m. in the 15100 unit block of Bannon Way in Dale City. The victim reported that she was lying down when her bedroom door opened and a man looked inside then left with the victim’s purse. The subject also attempted to take a video game system. Entry was gained through a maintenance door whose lock was broken. The intruder is described as a black male between 18 and 25 years of age and about 6’. No further description was available.
